ministry of home affairs The Srikrishna committee report has given six options on the demands for Telangana statehood and united Andhra.Talking to reporters after the meeting, Home Minister Mr. P Chidambaram said that out of the six options suggested by the Committee they have said that the first three are impracticable.He appealed political parties not to draw instant conclusions and expressed confidence that a solution to the issue will be found.

Chidambaram at Ministry of home affairs official website.n the 461 pages report, the Committee examined in great details issues relating to the historical background of Andhra Pradesh regional, economic, education, health, water resources, employment and matters relating to Hyderabad Metropolis and Sociological and cultural issues.ifurcation of Andhra Pradesh into Seemandhra and Telangana with enlarged Hyderabad Metropolis as a separate Union Territory. This Union Territory will have geographical linkage and contiguity via Nalgonda district in the south-east to Guntur district in coastal Andhra and via Mahaboobnagar district in the south to Kurnool district in Rayalaseema.
