Mits Gwalior Madhav Institute of Science and Technology was established in 1957 by His Highness the late Sir Jiwaji Rao Scindia, Maharaja, a former state of Gwalior with the primary purpose of providing technical education at the undergraduate level undergraduate and post alongwith the activities of research. The first stone of the Institute was established by the late Dr. Rajendra Prasad, then President of India on October 20, 1956 and the building was inaugurated on December 11, 1964 by Dr. S. Radhakrishnan later, the then President of India.
E. B. Computer Science and Engineering and Chemical Engineering were first offered in 1994 and 1995, respectively, and the discipline of information technology began in 2000. Postgraduate Course on Production Technology in the Department of Mechanical Engineering and microwave in the Department of Electronics and CSE are the latest additions. The institute also offers Ph.D. programs in various disciplines of engineering and sciences. The Institute initially started with E. B. Courses Civil Engineering, Mechanical and Electrical. Later Postgraduate and Doctoral Course of Applied Sciences was introduced 1967. The B.E. in the discipline of Electrical Engineering started in 1981. Degree course in Architecture was introduced in 1984. The Institute took the initiative in the region beginning OPOST graduate course in computer application (MCA) in 1986 ..
M.I.T.S Gwalior .. I would like you mentioned, 3 Nov.2010 when I entered the amount of Rs.4000 from SBI ATM, Branch Motimahal Gwalior, I could'nt get my money desirable due to some technical problems. After 15 min. I looked at my account balance, then the amount will be deducted from my account.I have submitted the petition on November 11 at Union Bank of India branch MITS Gwalior.then again brought the complaint, 3 dec.with all I documents.Now UBI is responding correctly. I need money urgently to my need.
